Our mission as a church is to evangelize our community and edify our congregation. We accomplish this mission and bring glory to God by magnifying Christ in worship; bringing the lost to Jesus through evangelism; discipling believers towards spiritual growth and personal holiness; identifying with our church family through membership; and ministering through Christ's love.
Our Purpose
We see the definite need for a church people who strongly emphasize evangelism and edification; who respond with dedication to the preaching of the whole counsel of God's Word, including biblical separation.
Our Responsibilities
Cornerstone's purpose revolves around five distinct yet integrated areas of Christian responsibility:
Worship - Cornerstone is a God-centered church that adores the Savior. The focus of our worship is God and our relationship to Him. The by-products of this worship are peace and fulfillment.
Outreach - God has a purpose for everyone, including you. His purpose is for you to believe the "good news" of His saving grace. Those that know this truth have a privilege and responsibility to share it with others.
Mentoring - Cornerstone helps others grow toward Christ-likeness as we invest our time in each other. Teaching and admonishing one another through the word of God to follow Christ is a wonderful privilege.
Community - As believers, God gives us a church family united for the same cause. The warm atmosphere of caring for each other brings joy and comfort that is beyond compare.
Service - Our goal is to lovingly and willingly serve God by following Christ' s example to serve others.
